Positive Behaviour Support for Adults Adelaide

Positive Behaviour Support for Adults Adelaide

Positive Behaviour Support for young adults, adults and older adults across Adelaide. Our practitioners work alongside participants, families and support networks to improve quality of life, increase independence, support meaningful participation and achieve goals that matter to the individual.

    Building Independence at Home

Positive Behaviour Support can help adults build the skills, confidence and supports needed to live as independently as possible. We work alongside participants and support networks to identify strengths, reduce barriers and develop practical strategies that support everyday living.

We recognise that independence looks different for everyone. Whether a person lives independently, with family, in supported accommodation or residential care, our focus is on increasing choice, participation, autonomy and quality of life.

    Skills for the Community

Being part of the community is an important aspect of quality of life. We support adults to build confidence, increase participation and access the activities, relationships and opportunities that are meaningful to them.

Our practitioners work alongside participants to identify barriers, develop practical strategies and support successful participation in community, recreational and everyday activities.

    Support for Work and Learning

Many adults want to pursue employment, education, volunteering or other meaningful roles within their community. Positive Behaviour Support can help identify strengths, support needs and strategies that promote success in these environments.

Our practitioners work collaboratively with participants, employers, educators, families and support networks to support participation, build confidence and improve long-term outcomes.

    Respecting Your Rights

At 2b Inclusive, we believe every person has the right to make decisions about their own life. Positive Behaviour Support promotes dignity, autonomy, choice and self-determination while supporting safety and wellbeing.

Our practitioners focus on reducing barriers, promoting rights and ensuring support strategies remain person-centred, least restrictive and aligned with the individual's goals and preferences.

    Managing Stress and Big Feelings

Life can present a range of challenges, including changes in health, relationships, living arrangements, employment or support needs. Positive Behaviour Support helps identify the factors contributing to stress, distress or reduced participation and develops practical strategies that improve wellbeing and quality of life.

Our practitioners work collaboratively with participants and support networks to understand individual experiences, build skills and create environments that support success.

    Your NDIS Plan and Future

NDIS funding for Positive Behaviour Support is generally accessed through the Improved Relationships support category and is designed to improve quality of life, increase participation and reduce the need for restrictive practices.

Our team can help participants and families understand their NDIS plan and determine whether funding is available for Positive Behaviour Support services across Adelaide.
